Where its futuristic and eye-catching exterior might wows the crowd there its user interface inside also will as well. Toyota concept-I Ride is one of Toyota best future vehicles and company don’t see the Concept-I as a car for today but as a vehicle to develop the artificial intelligence for new and improved driver experiences in future. As promised, the AI system monitors the driver mode and alertness to switch automatically between manual to automatic driving modes.

While introducing Toyota upcoming car models, the company is exploring the ways for how to create connections between peoples and their vehicles. Switching into autonomous mode automatically from manual is part of that. Company also hopes that its in-vehicle AI may be combined with biometric hardware and GPS data to observe people’s emotions and then to create a more enjoyable ride by suggesting detours or by engaging them in conversation.

Toyota Concept-i Ride is one of newly introduced concepts. Its two-seater electric vehicle designed for wheelchair users. It features gull-wing doors, sliding door to ensure easy entry and storage for wheelchair in the rear. A joystick has replaced the steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedals and the AI Agent is placed on a large instrument display beneath the windshield and offers useful tidbits like where to find wheelchair-friendly facilities.

The second addition continues Toyota’s long history developing Segway-esque which is personal mobility vehicles like the Winglet. Named the concept as i Walk which is three-wheeler and has a low-floor has a low-floor for easier hopping on and off, and can rotate more or less on the spot, well, apparently within a space smaller than a person’s stride. The AI agent works on the data gathered by sensors in the sense dangers and warn the driver.

Toyota will unveiled both concepts at Tokyo Motor Show which is to be held on 25 October.
