These are the things you will need to make a DIY pallet picture frame: 

• Nail guns
• Compressor 
• Glue
• Glass cutter
• Table saw
• Miter saw 
• Picture frame mat
• Picture hanger

Step-1:

First, I separated the pallet wood of the same size and thickness. Usually, you won’t find pallet woods with the same thickness or size. But I was lucky enough.

Step-2:

I took all the boards and pass them through the thickness planer machine. This was necessary, to make sure that all the boards are in the same size and length.

Step-3:

With the help of a table saw, I cut the wood according to the size of the picture frame I needed.

Step-4:

I cut the rabbet according to the frame size I needed. This was a bit difficult step but I did it successfully in the end. If you find it difficult, watch a tutorial on YouTube or see the pictures.

Step-5:

Next, I needed 45-degree angles to make up the picture frame. It was easy and I used a table saw for this step. You won’t find any difficulties in cutting 45-degree angles for the picture frame.

Step-6:

Now the hard work has been done and it’s time to join all the pieces together. I assembled all the pieces and glue them. Also, I used the brad nails to make sure that all the pieces are secure.

Step-7:

The frame was ready and I used sandpaper to smooth all the surfaces of the frame. Then I sprayed the frame with my favorite color. You can use a paintbrush to paint the frame but I recommend the spray as it’s easy to do.

Step-8: Next, I needed glass for the picture frame. It was the most difficult step of pallet picture frame DIY. If you do not have the tools for cutting the glass, then buy a glass from a nearby shop.

Step-9:

I purchased a mat according to my frame size and add it to the frame. The work has done and my frame was ready.

Step-10:

The last step was securing the frame with brackets. I took some small pieces of wood and used them to secure the frame. It was an easy step and I did it easily.
